The GAP Community Child Care Center is located at 3636 Sixteenth Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20010, nestled inside the landmark Woodner Apartment building. The Center opens onto Rock Creek Park, while conveniently situated near the Columbia Heights Metro Station and the many bus lines that run along 16th Street.

In addition to the front door security service provided by the Woodner, GAP occupies a regularly patrolled section of the building, replete with classroom video supervision, a fully-functioning kitchen, media center, computer lab, and fire safety equipment.

All parents are allocated a computerized keypad code that gives them full access to the classrooms on a daily basis. We believe that a safe and loving environment is not only an integral part of healthy child development, but gives parents much-needed peace of mind as well.

Parents are strongly encouraged to visit the center. We have an open door policy for prospective parents who are interested in learning about our center. Scheduled appointments are not required.
