The GAP Team
GAP staff members receive regular training and are assisted in their efforts to improve their qualifications through GAP-sponsored programs, such as higher education support, child development seminars and conferences, nutrition and food safety courses, on-site computer skills tutorials and more.
GAP educators and assistants also reflect the richness and diversity of the community at large. Spanish, French, Arabic and other languages within a community are made to feel very much at home.
The GAP staff is an important component of the overall GAP experience, but we are fortunate in having an active group of interested parents who volunteer on trips and in the classroom, providing an invaluable service by positively contributing to the children's lives and learning experience.
Field Trips, onsite picnics, our new large playground bouncer are not only enjoyed by the children and staff but the parents enjoy watching their children so everyone is having a positive and great time.
Parents meetings are held on a regular basis to create a better sense of community among all of those invested in the continued development of healthy, happy children. We also feel that parent meetings give everyone the opportunity to broaden their understanding of their child's inner world. Parents are encouraged to request topics for discussion.
